Former Pensacola State visual arts head bequeaths artwork to College

A former Pensacola State faculty member has left a large portion of his art collection to the College. Carl Duke, the head of the Visual Arts Department, bequeathed more than 400 pieces of artwork to the College after his passing this summer. Some pieces from the collection will be up for bid during the Bill Clover Memorial Auction set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts.

United Way Day of Caring: Pirates give back

Pensacola State employees and students, along with the Pirates Baseball team, volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House on Friday, Oct. 5, to remove old beds and install 48 new beds in the facility.

Pensacola State volunteers removed old bedding and installed new beds in 26 guest rooms that provide a home away from home for families who travel to Pensacola to receive critical medical care for their children.

PSC Police Department moves to 911 system

As of Monday, Oct. 8, EMERGENCY CALLS for Pensacola State College police assistance must made by dialing 911. 

Non-emergency calls can be made by dialing 850-484-2500, or ext. 2500 from a campus phone. The change applies to the College’s Pensacola, Milton and Warrington campuses and the Century, Downtown and South Santa Rosa centers.
