If you want to invest a little of your time in self-improvement, Pensacola State College is offering more than 30 Professional Development Day workshops on Friday, Oct. 26.
Pensacola State’s Warrington campus will be spotlighted during the fourth annual Holiday Experience set for Dec. 6. The interactive evening will include stops at the Mary Ekdahl Smart Simulation Center, the Veterinary Technology Program and the Dental Clinic. Tickets are $75 and proceeds from the event will go to student scholarships and programs.
Pensacola State College is now a part of the University of South Alabama’s Pathway USA. The articulation agreement signed on Friday, Oct. 19, allows more PSC graduates to transfer to USA and earn bachelor’s degrees.
A former Pensacola State faculty member has left a large portion of his art collection to the College. Carl Duke, the head of the Visual Arts Department, bequeathed more than 400 pieces of artwork to the College after his passing this summer. Some pieces from the collection will be up for bid during the Bill Clover Memorial Auction set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts.
