Pensacola State employees and students, along with the Pirates Baseball team, volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House on Friday, Oct. 5, to remove old beds and install 48 new beds in the facility.
Pensacola State volunteers removed old bedding and installed new beds in 26 guest rooms that provide a home away from home for families who travel to Pensacola to receive critical medical care for their children.

The 17-piece ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Ashmore Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus at 1000 College Blvd.

Bill Clover passed away in May of this year, but the beloved Pensacola State College visual arts professor will still impact the lives of future students.
The Bill Clover Memorial Auction will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Charles W. Lamar Studio on the Pensacola campus. Funds from the auction will go toward the establishment of the Bill Clover Endowed Scholarship.

Nursing student Joanna Painter was the first Pirate to respond after she put her treasure-hunting skills to work. She knows her Zingers and correctly identified Miller’s Ale House as the site of the bounty. Painter is this month’s grand prize winner of the treasure.
