Duties: The Administrative Assistant position is a full-time career service position. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the department staff, faculty, and students under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Emergency Medical Services. The Administrative Assistant will process payroll and personnel documents; maintain, record, and process departmental and college-related forms and reports; provide assistance to staff members, students, and visitors; schedule appointments and meetings; work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations; develop and maintain office files and various correspondence; and perform other duties as assigned. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and exercise discretion concerning confidential matters. Attention to detail and computer proficiency (spreadsheet management, electronic correspondence, and word processing skills) are essential for success in this position. The position reports to the Director of Nursing and Emergency Medical Services.

Salary: $21,280.00 ($10.87/hour) -

Additionally, this position will perform some administrative support functions with everyday operations of the department. This position requires the availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends during peak registration periods. This position reports to the Director, Student Services, Warrington.

Duties: The Admissions Specialist position is a full-time 12-month career service position. The Admissions Specialist will perform a variety of specialized departmental functions in a positive and professional manner. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, answering inquiries relative to the admissions process for general admissions, baccalaureate admissions, and health science admissions; maintaining current knowledge regarding the regulations governing admissions into diverse programs; corresponding with students regarding their eligibility for limited entry programs; corresponding with advisors and department representatives to assist students with the program admissions process; reviewing applicant files to verify required documents are on file; and notifying applicants when criteria for admission has been met or of documents needed to complete their file. This position requires availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends during peak registration periods. This position reports to the Director, Admissions and Records/ Registrar.

The Advising Support Specialist will provide administrative support to the Center for Advising and Career Services Department staff. Job duties and responsibilities include, explaining the advising and career planning services to students; scanning documents, maintaining the departmental calendar, schedules, and appointments; assisting students with student records system login and appropriate registration processes in the Students Success Lab; and performing other administrative support duties as assigned. Duties: The Assistant Director, Nursing and Emergency Medical Services position is a 12-month administrative position. The Assistant Director will assist in the administration of the department under the direction of the Director. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist the Director in developing, promoting, and offering quality classroom instruction, including instructor evaluation, curriculum review and development, student recruitment, and academic advising; assisting with course scheduling, requisitioning supplies, equipment, and materials; coordinating clinical, didactic, and laboratory course materials; preparing accreditation, state placement, and other related reports as assigned; and providing instruction for courses in the department as assigned. This position reports to the Director, Nursing and Emergency Medical Services.

Salary: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)

Duties: The Biology Instructor position is a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position with an anticipated start date of August 2018. The successful candidate will teach a variety of biology courses including non-majors biology and majors biology, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology as assigned. This position requires the effective teaching and advising of diverse students, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to the comprehensive state college mission. The instructor will prepare course plans and materials, effectively deliver subject matter content, monitor student attendance and progress, participate on departmental and College committees, participate in curriculum development, support activities that foster retention, participate in the selection of textbooks, perform the assessment of student learning outcomes, and take part in other service and professional development activities. Multiple campus, day, evening, and distance learning teaching assignments are possible. This position reports to the District Academic Department Head, Biological Sciences.

Salary: $34,828.00 - $40,828.00 for 9-month contract with a masters degree. (Entry level salary is computed and based on authority of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.)

Duties: The Computer Systems Analyst position is a full-time professional position. The Computer Systems Analyst will support and enhance the administrative applications for finance, HR/payroll, and student records. The computer systems analyst will develop equipment-oriented procedures such as conversion of an application from one computer system to another, provide solutions for a management information retrieval problem, and process simple generalized inquiry programs set. Additionally, the Computer Systems Analyst will analyze functional specifications of a complex program to design and develop detailed specifications and general flow charts for assigned routines; provide internal program interfaces; estimate and plan own work under general supervision; and seek to improve existing programming techniques to meet assigned objectives. This position requires availability to work occasional evening and weekend hours as well as in-district and overnight travel. This position reports to the Director, MIS Support.

Salary: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable. However, the College does not generally hire at the top of the range.)

Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; four years full-time experience with administration and support of enterprise computer systems and services; two years progressively responsible experience with administration of Microsoft enterprise services and applications.  Essential experience should include strong analysis and troubleshooting skills and a working familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, SQL/mySQL, IIS, SCCM, FIM, TMG, HyperV, VMware, file and print services, SAN management, enterprise backup applications, server clustering/high availability, DNS, and DHCP. Duties: The Systems Support Analyst position is a full-time professional/managerial position. The Systems Support Analyst will provide highly responsible technical administration and support for a rapidly expanding enterprise server infrastructure within a state-of-the-art wide area network. The infrastructure consists of a variety of hardware, software applications and databases, most of which are Microsoft based utilizing multiple standard communications protocols. This position requires availability to work throughout the district as well as working flexible hours including evenings and weekends. This position reports to the Director of Systems Support Services.

Salary: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)

Duties: The Veterinary Technology Instructor position is an 11-month, tenure-track faculty position with an anticipated start date of August 2018. This position requires effective teaching, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to the comprehensive state college mission. The successful candidate will teach courses in veterinary technology, as assigned. In addition, the instructor will prepare course plans and materials, effectively deliver subject matter content, monitor student attendance and progress, participate on departmental and College committees, participate in curriculum development, support activities that foster retention, participate in the selection of textbooks, perform the assessment of student learning outcomes, take part in other service and professional development activities, and perform other program related duties as assigned. Duties: The Videographer/Graphic Specialist position is a professional/managerial position. The Videographer/Graphic Specialist will participate as a team member in the College Marketing and Information Department and primarily function as a photographer/videographer for the College. The successful candidate will be responsible for shooting and editing College events; creating College documentaries, electronic holiday messages; shooting drone footage, etc. Additionally, the Videographer/Graphic Specialist will generate computer graphics for video projects and the College TV network. The successful candidate will also perform non-linear editing, and production specialist functions. Occasionally, the Videographer/Graphic Specialist will be required to work evenings, nights, and weekends. This position reports to the Director, College Marketing and Information.

Salary: $25,000.00 - $32,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable. However, the college does not generally hire at the top of the range.)
