Duties: The Accounting Specialist position is a full-time career service position. The Accounting Specialist will participate in advanced and complex accounting tasks involving the maintenance of financial records and related data; reconcile accounts, post ledgers, maintain journal entries, audit journal entries, prepare check requisitions; and submit regular and specialized accounting reports. Additionally, the Accounting Specialist will coordinate the activities of support staff, monitor work performance for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with established departmental standards; participate in the signing of vouchers and checks, preparation of depository reports, and the retention of appropriate accounting records. This position may be required to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, during peak registration periods. This position reports to the Bursar.

Salary: $26,500.00 ($13.54/hour) -

Duties: The Accounting Specialist position is a full-time career service position. The Accounting Specialist will process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions; respond to requests from various departments within the WSRE-TV station and at the College; assist with posting journal entries; maintain documentation for purchases, payments, and other Business Office activities; and provide assistance to other departments as needed. Additionally, the Accounting Specialist will assist in the preparation of various budget and annual reports; reconcile discrepancies; and maintain appropriate budget controls. On specific occasions, this position may be required to work at events on nights and/or weekends. This position reports to the Director, Business and Administration, WSRE. This is a grant-funded position.

Duties: The Administrative Assistant position is a full-time career service position. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to all departments at WSRE while stationed at the front desk to receive visitors and answer calls to WSRE, the PBS member television station licensed to the Pensacola State College Board of Trustees. This position supports special events and requires knowledge of WSREs TV schedules, programs, and educational services. The Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative support tasks, including but not limited to, preparing letters and reports, maintaining files, and answering phones; work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse populations; handle a large volume of functions and activities; follow complex instructions; and assist with the overall functions of the TV station. Additionally, in order to be successful in this position, the Administrative Assistant will be required to demonstrate professionalism in his/her appearance, communication, and conduct at all times. This position requires availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required. This position reports to the Station Administrative Coordinator, WSRE.

Additionally, the Admissions and Information Specialist will provide general enrollment, financial aid, testing information and student resources information to prospective students; maintain current and accurate knowledge of residency requirements as established by law; review and process admissions applications and student intake for potential students; take independent action to locate information and resolve problems; and perform some administrative functions associated with day-to-day operations. The Admissions and Information Specialist must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with employees and the public. This position reports to the Assistant Director, Admissions and Records.

Duties: The Business Instructor position is a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position with an anticipated start date of January 2019. This position requires the effective teaching and advising of diverse students, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to the comprehensive state college mission. The successful candidate will teach courses in management, marketing, and other business areas at the baccalaureate and associate level, as assigned. In addition, the instructor will prepare course plans and materials, effectively deliver subject matter content, monitor student attendance and progress, participate on departmental and College committees, participate in curriculum development, support activities that foster retention, participate in the selection of textbooks, complete assessments related to student learning outcomes, and take part in other service and professional development activities. Multiple campus, day, evening, and distance learning teaching assignments are possible. This position reports to the Department Head, Business.

Salary: $35,350.00 - $41,350.00 for a 9-month contract with a master

Duties: The Capital Campaign Manager position is a full-time professional/managerial position. Through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual, corporate, foundation, and other donors and prospects, the Capital Campaign Manager is accountable for planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall success of the Pensacola State College comprehensive capital campaign. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all development activities tied to the campaign. They will develop relationships with major donors and legacy givers; create strategies to secure ongoing significant sources of private/unrestricted funds, endowments, planned gifts, and naming opportunities; build a successful volunteer cabinet to ensure access to and successful asks from key leaders, foundations, and philanthropic donors; write proposals and grants in support of major campaign gifts; provide oversight and manage campaign activities, including mail or electronic appeals, special events, invitational events and round tables, and ribbon cuttings where needed. This position reports to the Executive Director of Institutional Development.

Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)

Duties: The College Police Officer position is a full-time career service position. Duties: The Computer Systems Analyst position is a full-time professional position. Duties: The Senior Technology Specialist position is a full-time professional position. This position will be required to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, particularly during peak registration periods. The Truck Driver/Laborer Lead will perform work leader functions by organizing and working with laborers at the job site to locate, pick up, and deliver equipment as listed on property dispositions, work orders, and job tickets; operate the material handling van, dump truck, fork lift, and other College vehicles; use moving equipment and applicable skills to ensure protection of workers, furniture, computers, and buildings from damage during handling and transporting; and assume responsibility of the work crew organization and production in the absence of the Laborer Supervisor. This position requires lifting, standing, bending, and/or stooping for long periods of time, and may be subjected to inclement weather conditions. The successful candidate may be required to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, throughout the district. This position reports to the Laborer Supervisor.

Salary: $18,550.00 ($9.47/hour) -
