Duties: The Administrative Assistant positions are full-time career service positions. The Administrative Assistants will provide administrative support to the department staff, faculty, and students under the supervision of the Director. The Administrative Assistants will process payroll and personnel documents; maintain, record, and process departmental and college-related forms and reports; provide assistance to staff members, students, and visitors; schedule appointments and meetings; work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations; develop and maintain office files and various correspondence; and perform other duties as assigned. The successful candidates must possess the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision; exercise discretion concerning confidential matters; input, format, edit, and proof read documents; process a high volume of computer data; and assist in the preparation of informational materials and special projects. Attention to detail and computer proficiency (spreadsheet management, electronic correspondence, and word processing skills) are essential for success in this position. These positions report to the Director, Adult Education Programs.

Salary: $21,280.00 ($10.87/hour) -

The Admissions Specialist will perform a variety of specialized departmental functions in a positive and professional manner. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, answering inquiries relative to the admissions process for general admissions, baccalaureate admissions, and health science admissions; maintaining current knowledge regarding the regulations governing admissions into diverse programs; corresponding with students regarding their eligibility for limited entry programs; corresponding with advisors and department representatives to assist students with the program admissions process; reviewing applicant files to verify required documents are on file; and notifying applicants when criteria for admission has been met or of documents needed to complete their file. This position requires availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends during peak registration periods. Additionally, the successful candidate will authorize fund disbursements for state and institutional funds to eligible students; authorize awarding of Federal Work Study and Florida Work Experience Program funding; prepare data for Director for annual FISAP report and Title IV year end closeout; conduct internal quality control review and analysis of staff workloads; and perform other duties as assigned. Duties: The Computer Systems Analyst position is a full-time professional position. The Computer Systems Analyst will support and enhance the administrative applications for finance, HR/payroll, and student records. The computer systems analyst will develop equipment-oriented procedures such as conversion of an application from one computer system to another, provide solutions for a management information retrieval problem, and process simple generalized inquiry programs set. Additionally, the Computer Systems Analyst will analyze functional specifications of a complex program to design and develop detailed specifications and general flow charts for assigned routines; provide internal program interfaces; estimate and plan own work under general supervision; and seek to improve existing programming techniques to meet assigned objectives. This position requires availability to work occasional evening and weekend hours as well as in-district and overnight travel. This position reports to the Director, MIS Support.

Duties: The Senior Administrative Assistant is a full-time career service position with an anticipated start date of March 5, 2018 but a different start date may be negotiated. The Senior Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to the Dean, department staff, and other direct reports. The Senior Administrative Assistant position is a complex position with a high degree of responsibility for interdepartmental coordination and public interface. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: scheduling meetings; preparing agendas; attending meetings and recording minutes; preparing on-line purchase requisitions, budget amendments, travel requests, and various other forms; establishing and maintaining office files, department records, correspondence, and related reports; processing personnel and payroll documents to appropriate departments before required deadlines; maintaining administrative records related to the departmental functions. The Senior Administrative Assistant must exercise judgment and discretion concerning confidential matters and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and independently. This position may require working flexible hours including evenings and weekends during peak periods. This position reports to the Dean, Baccalaureate Studies and Academic Support.

Salary: $22,660.00 ($11.58/hour) -

The Social Media Specialist will participate as a team member in the College Marketing and Information Department who will lead the creation, assessment, strategic direction, planning, implementation and maintenance of all current and new social media activities. The Social Media Specialist will collaborate with the web services team regarding news content, and implement front-end content for the Colleges social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, Blogs, Flickr, Instagram, Snapchat, and other social networking sites. Additionally, the Social Media Specialist will oversee processes to monitor, analyze and respond to commentary on social media sites and online communities on an ongoing basis; plan and implement promotional social media events related to major College events and seek engagement opportunities for key audiences such as prospective students, community patrons and fans; keep current and report on trends in social media, digital content, and emerging technologies; and actively participate on social media platforms. This position reports to the Director, College Marketing and Information.

The Videographer/Graphic Specialist will participate as a team member in the College Marketing and Information Department and primarily function as a photographer/videographer for the College. The successful candidate will be responsible for shooting and editing College events; creating College documentaries, electronic holiday messages; shooting drone footage, etc. Additionally, the Videographer/Graphic Specialist will generate computer graphics for video projects and the College TV network. The successful candidate will also perform non-linear editing, and production specialist functions. Occasionally, the Videographer/Graphic Specialist will be required to work evenings, nights, and weekends. This position reports to the Director, College Marketing and Information.
