PSC students, graphic designers capture gold, silver ADDYs at local awards gala

Pensacola State College students and graphic artists did very well at the AAF Pensacola 2019 American Advertising Awards Gala. Sarah Goolsby won two gold and two silver ADDYs and captured a Student Judges Choice Award and Best of Show at the event. Overall, Pensacola State students won 27 gold and 29 ADDYs, as well as three in the professional division.

Pensacola State SkillsUSA student-members made an outstanding showing at the Regions 1 SkillsUSA Spring Conference held Feb. 20 at the College.

SkillsUSA student-members won 12 gold medals, six silver medals and six bronze medals at the competition. Four Pensacola State faculty and staff members also were recognized at the conference.

Pensacola State to stage ‘Uncle Vanya’ March 7-10 in Ashmore Auditorium

The Pensacola State College Performing Arts Department will stage the critically- acclaimed play, “Uncle Vanya,” on March 7 through March 10.

The Thursday through Saturday, March 7-9, performances are set for 7:30 p.m. in the Ashmore Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus at 1000 College Blvd. The Sunday, March 10, performance will be at 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
