Duties: The Administrative Assistant position is a full-time career service position. The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the department staff, faculty, and students under the supervision of the Department Head. The Administrative Assistant creates, manages, and executes budget expenditures upon approval by the Department Head; processes payroll and personnel documents; maintains, records, and processes departmental and college-related forms and reports; develops and maintains office files and correspondence; monitors, orders, and processes requisitions for department materials and supplies; operates office equipment; schedules appointments and meetings; and assists with preparation of annual budget. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant works effectively in a diverse community and meets the needs of diverse student populations; handles a large volume of functions and activities; follows simple and complex written and verbal instructions; and performs other duties as assigned. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and exercise discretion concerning confidential matters. Attention to detail and computer proficiency (spreadsheet management, electronic correspondence, and word processing skills) are essential for success in this position. The position may require availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings. This position reports to the Department Head, English and Communications.

ART HISTORY INSTRUCTOR

Duties: The Art History Instructor position is a 9-month, tenure-track track faculty position with an anticipated start date of August 2019. The successful candidate will teach survey courses in art history and humanities art as assigned. This position requires effective teaching and advising of diverse students, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to the comprehensive state college mission. The instructor will prepare course plans and materials, effectively deliver subject matter content, monitor student attendance and progress, participate on departmental and College committees, participate in curriculum development, support activities that foster retention, participate in the selection of textbooks, assess student learning outcomes, and take part in other service and professional development activities. Multiple campus, day, evening, and distance learning teaching assignments are possible. This position reports to the Department Head, Visual Arts.

Salary: $35,880.00 - $41,880.00 for a 9-month contract with a masters degree.

Duties: The College Police Officer position is a full-time career service position. The College Police Officer will perform a variety of duties in the carrying out of law enforcement, security, and safety operations involved with the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, and rendering of services; patrol campus, regulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic, write detailed reports, and provide escorts for individuals on campus and transport currency. The College Police Officer will be assigned on any of the Pensacola State College campuses or locations, requires availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and may perform dispatcher duties as needed. The successful candidate will be enrolled into the FRS Special Risk Class, and eligible for education incentive under F.S. 943.17. This position reports to the Director, Public Safety/Chief of College Police.

Salary: $26,706.00 ($13.64/hour) -

Duties: The Completion Advisor position is a full-time professional/managerial position. The Completion Advisor will be responsible for managing and performing complex tasks related to program completion, graduation activities, external credit processing, and military records. Duties: The Computer Systems Analyst position is a full-time professional position. The Computer Systems Analyst will support and enhance the administrative applications for finance, HR/payroll, and student records. The computer systems analyst will develop equipment-oriented procedures such as conversion of an application from one computer system to another, provide solutions for a management information retrieval problem, and process simple generalized inquiry programs set. Additionally, the Computer Systems Analyst will analyze functional specifications of a complex program to design and develop detailed specifications and general flow charts for assigned routines; provide internal program interfaces; estimate and plan own work under general supervision; and seek to improve existing programming techniques to meet assigned objectives. This position requires availability to work occasional evening and weekend hours as well as in-district and overnight travel. This position reports to the Director, MIS Support.

Salary: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)

Salary: $31,000.00 - $35,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)
