Kids College 2017

Kids College is in full swing at Pensacola State College. Along with tie-dying T-shirts, mask-making and website building, campers are also learning the basics of fishing and other sports and activities. Get ready for the Solar Eclipse Aug. 21

The sky is slated for a spectacular show – a total solar eclipse on Monday, Aug. 21. And you can see it for the simple price of looking up. Telescopes will be set up outside the PSC Planetarium from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 21. The partial eclipse begins at 12:05 p.m. and reaches maximum coverage of 82 percent at 1:37 p.m. The eclipse ends at 3:03 p.m. locally. Draco Baader filters and eclipse glasses will be available for the public to use.
