John Solet, a Pensacola State College recruiter, made a presentation to youth attending the Poarch Creek Tribe’s Summer Youth Leadership Program Camp on Monday, June 13.
The three-week camp includes sessions on Job Skills, Leadership Skills, Teamwork, and Cultural Education. It was held in Atmore, Alabama.
During the spring semester, Solet was invited to talk about Pensacola State and teach a leadership session to tribal youth at the summer camp.
“My session consisted of ‘getting-to-know-you’ activities, team-building skills training, interactive games, and a Pensacola State College question-and-answer session,” said Solet of his 90-minute presentation.
