U.S. News ranks PSC online bachelor degree program among nation’s best

Pensacola State College’s online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program has been ranked among the best in the state and country by U.S. News and World Report.

In the “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs 2019 Edition” listing, Pensacola State ranked 10th in Florida and 114th nationwide for the online BSN program.

Free VITA Tax Preparation and e-Filing service available to taxpayers

The Free VITA Tax Preparation and e-Filing services are now available on Pensacola State College campuses.

In existence for more than 10 years, the program provides free tax services to working families and individuals who earn less than $66,000 a year. Residents can receive quality service from IRS-trained tax preparers, and have two filing options – online or in-person.

The inaugural class of inductees to the Pensacola State College Athletics Hall of Fame was introduced at a press conference held Dec. 17.

 by PSC Athletic Director Bill Hamilton. Honorees in attendance were Bill Brantley, Jim Donovan, Dana Gilmore, Greg Litton and Gerald McArthur on behalf of his brother the late Bill McArthur.

Victoria Greene has a favorite saying: “It doesn’t matter how many times you get knocked down, it’s about how many times you get back up.”

The Pensacola State student has had a few hard knocks in her 27 years.

Pensacola State College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate degrees and associate degrees. Pensacola State College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
