PSC students win 27 gold, 29 silver Pensacola ADDYs gala

Pensacola State College visual arts students won 58 awards at the AAF Pensacola 2019 American Advertising Awards Gala held Feb. 16 at the Hilton Pensacola Beach.

Pensacola State students earned 27 gold and 29 silver ADDYs, a Student Judges Choice and a Best of Show awards.

In the professional division, Pensacola State Marketing Department graphic designers won three silver ADDYs.

Award-winning guitarist Tengyue Zhang to perform at PSC on April 12

The Pensacola State College Guitar Association will present Tengyue Zhang, grand prize winner of the 2017 Guitar Foundation of America’s International Concert Artist Competition, in concert on Friday, April 12.

The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. in Ashmore Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus at 1000 College Blvd.

Pensacola State invites public to ‘An Evening in Paris’ on April 5

The Pensacola State College Performing Arts Crew will host “An Evening in Paris” on Friday, April 5, at Pensacola State College.

The gala is set for 7:30-10 p.m. in the lobby of Ashmore Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus at 1000 College Blvd.

Alice Notley shares poetry on April 5 at Pensacola State

Alice Notley, one of America’s greatest living poets will speak on Friday, April 5, at Pensacola State College.

The event is set for 7:30 p.m. in the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts, Building 15, on the Pensacola campus. Admission is free and open to the public.

Pensacola State College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate degrees and associate degrees. Pensacola State College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
