Companies from across Northwest Florida are expected to be on hand at the 23rd Multicultural Job Fair set for Friday, Feb. 2, in WSRE-TV’s Jean and Paul Amos Performance Studio.
Sponsored by Pensacola State College’s Black History/Multicultural Committee, Student Job Services and WSRE-TV, the job fair is free and will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the Pensacola campus.

Since Carley Lambert was a young child, the Pensacola State College theatre major has been right at home dancing, singing and now acting in front of an audience.
That natural ability and love of the stage recently paid off when Lambert was selected the Florida College System Activities Association Theatre Division Student of the Month for November.
Members of Pensacola State College’s AFC chapter masqueraded as Santa Claus for the First Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program during the holiday season. Association of Florida College members purchased and donated about 40 new toys, assorted gift cards and more than $200 in cash to children in need throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Mel Miner, a Guardian ad Litem and AFC member, said the donations made a tremendous difference in the lives of the children in the program.
Pensacola State College’s student-athletes are impressive in and out of their respective sports arenas.
The 79 student-athletes who play baseball, basketball, softball and volleyball are especially exceptional when it comes to the classroom. For fall 2017, the student-athletes earned a collective 3.01 grade point average.

The program will feature health insurance experts ─ Andrew Rubin, Allison Vogel and Matt Penziner ─ from New York University’s Langone Medical Center and hosts of Sirius XM’s Doctor Radio program, “HealthCare Connect.”
