Meet Tilden Whitfield, an academic advisor/life skills coach for TRIO Veterans Student Support Services. Whitfield, 30, has worked in postsecondary education and recently joined the Pensacola State College Family. In his position, Whitfield helps military veterans who are first-generation college students with career choices, degree plans, class schedules, applying for financial aid, and even transferring to a four-year college institution.
