PSC Fitness Centers

Fitness Centers are available at the Pensacola, Milton, and Warrington Campus for students and the general public.

Our Mission

To raise the level of awareness of the general public about the relationship between lifestyle and health and give people information and tools to help them be more self-reliant in matters of health and fitness.

How to use the L.I.F.E. Center

Current PSC students can enroll in Concepts of Life Fitness, HLP-1081 (3cc) or Express Student Orientation to the L.I.F.E. (fitness) Center, R04606.

Completing the Concepts of Life Fitness class, HLP-1081 or Express Student Orientation, R04606 course qualifies you to use the L.I.F.E. Centers on each of the campuses at no additional cost for as long as you remain a PSC student (current PSC ID card is required)

How To Become A Member

Membership For Community Members

Step 1:
Register through Spyglass or at any campus Registration Office for one of the following:

  • HLP1081 Concepts of Life Fitness: This course is a 3-hour college credit class.  The fee is the same as any other college class.
  • R03567 Express Orientation to the LIFE Fitness Center (100 hours)
  • R03566 Express Orientation to the LIFE Fitness Center (64 hours)
  • R02347 Life Fitness Assessment for the Community

There is a registration fee payable at the cashier’s office or online through your Spyglass account.

 

Step 2:

Bring receipt of registration from the above step to any of the 3 Fitness Centers and complete the orientation during the regular hours of operation for that location.

 

For subsequent semesters, register through Spyglass or at any campus Registration Office for one of the following:

  • R00062 Recreation Fitness Lab (96 hours)
  • R00211 Recreation Fitness Lab (60 hours)

 

Bring receipt of registration from the above step to any of the 3 Fitness Centers

Membership For Students

Step 1:
Register through Spyglass or at any campus Registration Office for one of the following:

  • HLP1081 Concepts of Life Fitness: This course is a 3-hour college credit class. It counts as an elective in many degree programs (please check with an advisor for more information). The fee is the same as any other college class.
  • R04606 Express Orientation for Students: There is a $20.00 registration fee payable at the cashier’s office or online through your Spyglass account. It is a one time fee for orientation only. There is no cost to work out after you have completed your orientation as long as you are enrolled in a college credit class for the semester.

Step 2:

Bring receipt of registration from the above step to any of the 3 Fitness Centers and complete the orientation during the regular hours of operation for that location.

 

PSC students must be enrolled in at least one 3-hour college credit course for the semester to use the Life Fitness center for free.
