PSC Spring Graduation is just over two weeks away, at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 9, at the Pensacola Bay Center. Doors open to graduates and the public at 4:00 p.m.
Graduates will earn their diplomas and certificates for the following degrees: Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Career Certificate, Technical Certificate, Advanced Technical Certificate, Advanced Technical Diploma, Bachelor of Applied Science, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Graduates, everything you need to know can be found on the College website at PSC Spring Graduation 2025, including
- instructions on applying for graduation in Workday,
- making reservations to save your seat at graduation to participate in the ceremony and
- reserving your regalia in the Pensacola State College Bookstore on the Pensacola Campus.
There is also information about appropriate attire for the ceremony, ceremony protocol, academic regalia, and a link to view the Live Stream on Facebook.
Pensacola State Student Affairs is working on enhancing the student experience for graduation. There will be lighted PSC letters outside for photo opportunities, a 360-degree camera set up where the students check in to get a free picture, and a photo booth with selfie props. Additionally, the College gives all graduates who stay throughout the graduation ceremony a complimentary PSC Graduate T-shirt.
Attend the Spring 2025 Graduation Fair on May 1, 1-3 p.m. in Building 5 at the Pensacola Campus! There, graduate candidates can decorate their graduation caps, engage in a resume-building workshop, get general graduation information, and discuss transfer opportunities with institutions like the University of West Florida, Springhill College of Mobile, Florida State University, and the University of Florida.
Associate Vice President of Student Affairs Dr. Jon Stephenson said, “I am proud of each graduate of PSC because these students embody the college’s mission and contribute significantly to society. PSC graduates represent the success of the college’s efforts in education and student development.”
All students participating in the ceremony are encouraged to email the College Marketing Department at www.marketing@pensacolastate.edu with a picture they would like to be put up on all of the LED and video boards throughout the Bay Center that will run from when doors open until the start of the commencement ceremony. Dr. Stephenson also encourages those graduates in unique situations, like family members graduating together or someone returning to PSC to earn an additional degree, to please let the Marketing team know, to highlight those special celebrations.
