Adult Basic Education is a program whose mission is to help adult learners who want to improve their basic skills, prepare for the GED Tests, learn English as a second language, improve their job readiness skills, or develop skills to enable them to continue their education at Pensacola State College.

- Classes for adults who are at least 18 years of age. Individuals who are 16 or 17 years old may be admitted with a letter of permission or an age waiver from the school district in the county in which they live.
- Class offerings in morning, afternoon, and evening.
- Class offerings on all Pensacola campuses and at many convenient neighborhood sites.
- Option to enroll and begin classes at any time of the year.
- GED classes for students without a high school diploma to prepare them for all areas of the exam.
- English for Speakers of Other Languages
- ABE for Adults with Disabilities - offered through Pollak Training Center (850.438.5577) and United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida (850.432.1596).
- On-site Workplace Employee Development classes.
ESOL offers:
