Wilder was a member of the Theta Chi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa
at Pensacola State College. She was very active and involved in the chapter, but was
killed in a tragic car accident before she had a chance to graduate.
Her parents set up a scholarship in her honor to help students (especially PTK students) to complete their education at Pensacola
State. This scholarship
fund receives some matching funds from the State of Florida, and
there is an annual golf tournament which raises funds for the scholarship

program that pays for all of these (such as dual enrollment) you
will not be able to use the scholarship.
1. Type a 500 word essay on the Honors Study Topic:
Frontiers and the Spirit of Exploration. You may
choose any topic you like, but you must relate it to Frontiers and
the Spirit of Exploration. To learn more

that can help guide your essay. You can choose any issue that
relates to the topic.
