Summer Athletic Camps
5/9/2008 Keep your kids active this summer with a Pensacola Junior College athletic camp. The college offers several options for girls and boys and different age groups.

• “FUN”damentals Kids’ Basketball Camp, for girls entering grades 3-7, is 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 2-5 at the Pensacola campus. Cost is $75. For more information, contact Coach Chanda Rigby at 484-1331, crigby@pjc.edu.

• Lady Pirate Basketball Camp, a high-intensity skills camp for girls entering grades 7-12, is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 9-11 at the Pensacola campus. Cost is $75. For more information, contact Coach Chanda Rigby at 484-1331, crigby@pjc.edu.

• Boy’s Basketball Camp, a fundamental skills camp for rising third-graders through ninth-graders, is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 23-26 at the Pensacola campus. Cost is $100 with lunch, $80 without. For more information, contact Coach Paul Swanson at 484-1303, pswanson@pjc.edu.

• PJC Volleyball Camp for Girls is 8:30 a.m. to noon July 14-17 at the PJC Milton campus. Cost is $85 per camper and includes a camp T-shirt, notebook and DVD of campers doing drills. For more information, contact Coach Pete Pena at 484-1344, ppena@pjc.edu.

• Championship Softball Camp, for girls ages 7 to girls entering 12th grade, is 8:30 a.m. to noon July 21-24 at the PJC Softball Complex on the Milton campus. Cost is $80 per camper and includes a camp T-shirt. Campers must bring their own gloves. For more information, contact Coach Brenda Pena at 484-1332, bpena@pjc.edu.
