Tres Bon! Students Exhibit Photos of France and Spain
7/18/2007 Come experience France and Spain through the lenses of Pensacola Junior College students at the exhibit “deux semaines” Aug. 3-9 at the Visual Arts Gallery.
The opening reception is 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 3 at the gallery located in the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts on the Pensacola campus.
Under the guidance of adjunct professor Virginia Vanneman, independent studies photography students spent deux semaines (two weeks) in May taking photos of Paris, southern France and Spain – including the seaside town les Saintes Maries de la Mer, the wine-soaked hills of Banyuls Sur Mer and the dramatic cliffs of Costa Bravo en route to the cobblestone town of Cadaques, Spain.
Summer gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Admission is free.
