Become Savvy Parents

Parenting teens is a tough job. Are you tired of endless arguments? Wish your teen would listen to you?

Gain some insight and solutions with the new Pensacola Junior College course “Savvy Parents.” The Continuing Education offering is 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the Milton campus. Cost is $20 per student.

The course schools parents on laws that apply to youth under the age of 18 as well as issues and pressures facing teens, adolescents and children. Discussion includes Internet crime, MySpace, bullying, popular drugs of choice, drinking and driving, peer pressure and fitting in.
