Be a Computer-Savvy Senior!
1/3/2006 Seniors who want to become as savvy about computers as their children and grandkids, need to check out Pensacola Junior College’s “Computers for Seniors” series of courses.
Learn how your computer works, install programs, conduct a virus check, organize and manage a file system, create a password, send e-mail, use find-and-search functions, send and receive attachments, and join a seniors computer club.
Computer I for Seniors: 9 to 11 a.m. Monday and Wednesday, Jan. 9 through Feb. 6, Downtown Center, and 4 to 5:50 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, Jan. 10 through Feb. 2, Pensacola campus. $40.
Computer Overview II for Seniors: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 through March 9, Milton campus. $40.
E-mail for Seniors: 4 to 5:50 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 7 through 23, Pensacola campus. $35.
Internet Security for Seniors: 9 to 11 a.m. Monday and Wednesday, Feb. 8 through March 6, Downtown Center. $40.
Seniors Computer Circle: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 23 through April 17, Milton campus. $59.
Senior Computing Shortcuts: 4 to 5:50 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 28 through March 9, Pensacola campus. $25.
