Catch a Ride on the "Ultimate Road Trip"
7/7/2004 Pensacola Junior College will host the “Ultimate Road Trip,” a college orientation event for first-year students, on Thursday, July 22. The transition into life as a college student is an exciting, yet often complicated process.
This unique orientation will help students start college with the confidence to survive their first year and learn how to use their college experience to drive themselves toward future success. Topics include future career opportunities, choosing meaningful extracurricular activities, successfully managing the transition to college, tips for getting great grades and managing time, and the importance of starting now.
The “Ultimate Road Trip” will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. beginning at the Student Center, Building 5, Pensacola campus. It will include an interactive presentation with guest speakers, campus tours and a showcase of PJC’s degree programs. Food, cold drinks and ice cream will be served. Admission is free.
