PJC Foundation Board of Governors Announced
7/1/2004 The Pensacola Junior College Foundation Board of Governors held their 2004 Annual Meeting Thursday, June 24 at the Pensacola Yacht Club.
Master of ceremonies Mike Wiggins welcomed an audience of more than 150 attendees. PJC Foundation President Miller Caldwell expressed appreciation for the tremendous accomplishments that had been made through the diligent work of the Board of Governors, officers and directors.
PJC President Thomas Delaino congratulated each member of the Foundation Board of Governors thanking them for their dedication to the college. “The partnership shared with our college and its foundation is a wonderful resource to our students and faculty and leadership team.”
The Foundation welcomed incoming board members Dick Appleyard, Rhette Anderson, George Bailey, Fred Bond, Ken Cole, Robert de Varona, Kathy Dunagan, Greg Litton, Kramer Litvak, Julian MacQueen, Robert Montgomery, John O’Connor, Joanne Ryan and Warren Tate.
Officers for 2004-2005 are Tom Owens, President; Carolyn Davis, Vice-President; Grover Robinson, IV, Secretary; Danyelle Kennedy, Treasurer; H. Miller Caldwell, Jr., Immediate Past Present; and Patrice Whitten, Executive Director.
Directors are Dick Appleyard, Pam Caddell, Lisa McKenzie Dampier, Sparkie Folkers, Diane Gup, John Hutchinson, Ted Kirchharr, Betty Gail Peters, Charlie Sherrill, Jr., Gwen Snowden and Margaret Stopp.

The Pensacola Junior College Foundation was established in 1965 to provide financial support for the college. The PJC Foundation raises funds for student scholarships, program enhancements, capital building projects and general operating expenses of the college. More than 50 business and community leaders generously volunteer their support for PJC and its students by serving on the Foundation Board of Governors.
