Wind & Jazz Ensembles & Euphonium Soloist

Pensacola Junior College presents the PJC Wind and Jazz Ensembles, featuring award-winning euphonium soloist Marc Dickman.

Dickman conducts a euphonium master class 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, at the Ashmore Fine Arts Center, Building 8, room 884, on the Pensacola campus.

The concert is 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, in the Ashmore Auditorium.

The class and concert are free and open to the public, but tickets are required for the concert.

Dickman is co-founder of the acclaimed jazz studies program at the University of North Florida. His versatility on euphonium, trombone, bass trombone and tuba in the classical and jazz styles places him in high demand in the United States. He teaches applied low brass and jazz ensemble at UNF, and his students have won awards in the jazz and classical areas. Dickman has performed at music conferences worldwide including events in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; Lahti, Finland; and Budapest, Hungary.
