Lady Pirates claim third place in nation

The Lady Pirates took third place in the NJCAA Women’s National Basketball Championship, beating Northern Oklahoma 86-63 Saturday night in Salina, Kansas. The Lady Pirates showed more confidence on the court after their loss in the semi-final matchup Friday, taking the lead out the gate and leading by as much as 26 points in the second half. Read more
