FCWS is a federal program which helps eligible students acquire employment in order to help pay for the costs associated with attendance at Pensacola State College.

FWEP is a need-based program for eligible Florida citizens who are students. This work experience will complement and reinforce educational and career goals.

Work Study specifics
- Students may work on or off campus at approved locations.
- Students earn minimum wage.
- Students generally work 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Work schedules are arranged around the student's class schedule.
- Students are paid bi-weekly for hours worked.
- FCWS awards do not defer tuition and fees.
- Students must only be enrolled in courses required for their program.
- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits each semester.
Note: Applications and assignments are no longer made through the Financial Aid/Veteran Services/Scholarships Office. Students must access applications and assignments through Student Job Services. Should FCWS and FWEP work assignments be filled, other work opportunities may be available.
