Federal College Work Study (FCWS)

FCWS is a federal program which helps eligible students acquire employment in order to help pay for the costs associated with attendance at Pensacola State College.

 

Florida Work Experience Program (FWEP)

FWEP is a need-based program for eligible Florida citizens who are students. This work experience will complement and reinforce educational and career goals.

Work Study specifics

  • Students may work on or off campus at approved locations.
  • Students earn minimum wage.
  • Students generally work 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • Work schedules are arranged around the student's class schedule.
  • Students are paid bi-weekly for hours worked.
  • FCWS awards do not defer tuition and fees.
  • Students must only be enrolled in courses required for their program.
  • Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits each semester.
