    • avoid plagiarism by offering documentation assistance and advice in MLA, APA, or Turabian format

    • acquire basic computer and word processing skills
  • Work with currently enrolled PSC students only
  • Upon request, provide students with a detailed Tutoring Report form

Online Services We Provide

Our Limitations

What We Don’t Do

  • Schedule individual appointments in advance
  • Give students a topic to write about when they are having difficulty coming up with one
  • Proofread essays, marking every error
  • Re-word students’ essays
  • Review more than one paper from the same student in a single day
  • Predict what grade a student will earn
  • Guarantee that a student’s essay will be error-free and ready to turn in for an acceptable grade
  • Work with students who are rude, belligerent, or not actively engaged in the tutoring session
  • Proctor tests or quizzes
  • Unless specified on a written assignment, apply instructor modifications to standard conventions
  • Share personal opinions of faculty or staff, classes, etc., with students
  • Violate student trust by sharing with instructors information from a tutoring session that is not related to the class
