Pensacola State College Swimming Pool is open Monday through Saturday for your swimming enjoyment.   Water exercise classes in the shallow and deep ends of the pool, Adult and children swim lessons, and master swim classes are offered for all ages to work and swim at their ability level.  Recreation Swim time is open to the community to enjoy the pool without an instructor or coach.  Lifeguard certification classes are offered during the spring and summer semesters.  Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club, a swim team, offers competitive swimming and swim lessons for children three years old through high school.  The pool is twenty-five yards long and six lanes wide and is heated to between 83 and 84 degrees.  There are locker rooms available with lockers to store personal items.  Locks must be furnished by the swimmer.  Belongings may not be left overnight.
Our staff is highly qualified and experienced coaches, instructors, and lifeguards.  They will help you learn and accomplish your goals.

Pool Rules:

1. Swimming prohibited unless lifeguard on duty.
2. Obey instruction of lifeguard.
3. Shower before entering the pool.
4. No running or horseplay allowed.
5. Children under 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years old or older).
6. Persons with open sores or rashes are not allowed in the pool.
7. No food, drinks, or glass containers allowed.
8. No diving in shallow water.
9. No flips or back dives from side of pool.
10. Starter blocks may be used only during a scheduled practice time by swim team members when coaches are on deck.
11. No cut offs, gym/running shorts allowed.  Bathing suits only.
12. No toys or inflatables allowed.
