Collegiate High School

Welcome to the Collegiate High School Department

The Collegiate High School is a part of the Department of the Secondary and Adult Education. The purpose of the program is to provide students sixteen years of age or older the opportunity to earn their high school diploma. Courses at Collegiate high are the same as those in area public high schools but taught at an accelerated pace. Classes are available mornings, afternoons and evenings. A "weekend" adults-only session is also available. Students in the program are required by state law to pay tuition at time of registration. Tuition is $ 30 each semester. Students also are required to provide documents which indicate residency in the State of Florida for 12 consecutive months prior to registration. Co-enrolled students from area punblic high schools are exempt from tuition but are limited in the number of classes they can register in each semester.
